Sana Abdullah is a lawyer who specializes in employment law and business disputes, and also supports our estate planning law practice.
Professional Background and Experience:
While in law school, Sana served as a Congressional Judicial Fellow and clerked at the North Carolina Department of Justice. She also studied international law at the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. Sana began her career as a lawyer at McDermott Will & Emery, where her civil litigation practice included complex business litigation, health care litigation, arbitration, and government investigations. She has extensive pro bono experience, including representing a class of foster children in an effort reform a state-run foster care system, and domestic violence victims in family law matters. Sana has also worked as a volunteer lawyer for the Victim Rights Law Center and for Health Law Advocates. Since joining the slnlaw team in 2010, Sana has worked on many business and employment matters, representing individuals with claims arising under the Massachusetts and federal wage and hour and discrimination laws, as well as individuals and small businesses in business-to-business and shareholder disputes.
Sana earned her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis and her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with honors and distinction
