Estate Planning Services: Bringing Your Plan to Life
Creating Your Estate PlanAt slnlaw, we believe that estate planning is not just about drafting documents; it's about crafting a comprehensive strategy to protect your legacy and ensure your wishes are carried out. After completing the initial estate planning assessment and agreeing on the path forward, we guide you through the process of creating and finalizing your estate planning documents.
Document Drafting and ReviewOnce we've agreed on the details and your preferred path, our dedicated team will reach out to confirm all essential information. We then begin the process of drafting your estate planning documents. Our goal is to ensure that every detail aligns with your wishes and objectives.
Once the documents are ready, we provide you with the opportunity to review them thoroughly. You'll have the chance to meet with your attorney to discuss any questions or suggest changes if needed. Our aim during this stage is absolute clarity — we want you to be crystal clear about your desires, and we want you to fully understand the purpose and impact of each document. Finalizing Your Estate PlanFollowing your review and any necessary revisions, we'll move forward to finalize your estate planning documents. We'll make all necessary arrangements for the proper execution and witnessing of each document to ensure they are legally binding and enforceable.
Transparent Fee StructureOur estate planning packages are typically offered at a flat fee, and you'll have a detailed discussion with your attorney to determine the package that best suits your needs. The fee for the initial assessment will be subtracted from the total flat fee. Our billing process occurs in two stages: the first half of the balance is invoiced before we commence drafting the documents, and the second half is due at the final signing.
Additionally, there may be some out-of-pocket fees if we need to record any documents on your behalf. These fees will be discussed with your attorney in advance to ensure complete transparency. Document SafekeepingOnce all documents are signed and finalized, we will provide you with the original copies for safekeeping. It's crucial to us that you have easy access to your estate planning documents when needed.
Simultaneously, we retain an electronic copy for our records. This approach allows for easy modifications if changes become necessary in the future, saving you time and effort. ConclusionOur commitment is to guide you through every step of the estate planning process with transparency and precision. We're here to ensure your estate plan not only meets your current needs but also evolves with you over time. Your peace of mind and the protection of your legacy are our top priorities.
