Let's take a closer look at what you can expect as you navigate through our estate planning process.
Onboarding Call with Your Dedicated Case Manager
The first step is an onboarding call with your dedicated case manager. This call serves two important purposes:
- Accuracy Check: We want to ensure that the information gathered during the initial consultation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Q&A Session: Your case manager will address any questions or concerns you may have about the estate planning process.
- Scheduling Your Design Meeting: Your case manager will get you on the attorney's calendar by the end of this call.
Design Meeting with Your Estate Planning Attorney
Following the onboarding call, the next milestone is a design meeting with one of our experienced estate planning attorneys. In this meeting:
- Goal Review: The attorney will thoroughly review the information collected and discuss your specific goals.
- Document Recommendations: Based on your goals, our attorney will recommend the best set of documents to meet your unique needs.
- Transparent Cost Discussion: We will go over the costs associated with various options, ensuring clarity and transparency.
Decision-Making and Engagement Letter Update
Once you've had time to consider your options, your case manager will reach out to:
- Update Engagement Letter: Make any necessary updates to the engagement letter based on your decisions.
- Payment Arrangements: Work with you to finalize payment arrangements.
- Confirmation of Details: Confirm details like names, spellings, addresses, etc., ensuring accuracy in document drafting.
Document Drafting and Review Meeting
With the administrative details sorted, our team will proceed with drafting your documents. You will receive these drafts for review. We will then schedule a Review Meeting:
- Client Questions: An opportunity for you to ask any questions or seek clarification on the drafted documents.
- Incorporating Your Input: We ensure that every detail important to you is included in the final documents.
Signing Appointment in Our Offices
Once you are satisfied with the document drafts, we schedule a signing appointment at our offices:
- Execution of Documents: All necessary witnesses and notarizations, as required by law, will be present.
- Finalization: Your documents are officially executed, and you leave our offices with the peace of mind that your estate plan is in place.
