What is the Massachusetts Minimum Wage in 2022?
Minimum wage in Massachusetts is $14.25 per hour in 2022. If you are a tipped employee, you may be paid a lower minimum wage of $6.15 per hour, as long as your combined wages and tips bring you at least to $14.25. If you do not receive sufficient tips to reach that amount, your employer is required to make up the difference.
The regular minimum wage will go up one more time in 2023, to $15.00 per hour. The tipped minimum wage will also increase, to $6.75 per hour.
