Attorney Jenna Ordway Business Law Matters

The following are some examples of the clients Attorney Ordway has helped with business formation, partnership and operating agreements, and other business law issues.

Business Formation

Attorney Ordway has drafted and filed incorporation documents for clients in health care, building maintenance, pest control, consulting, food service, and other industries.

She has worked with single business owners to create LLCs in Massachusetts or corporations in Massachusetts and Delaware.  She has worked with business partners to form similar entities.

Partnership and Operating Agreements

When you have a business partner, creating the incorporation and governance documents requires a little more discussion and planning.

Jenna has worked with many business partners to identify how they want to share ownership, and address important issues like management and control, as well as how to address one partner deciding to leave the business.

Working with these clients, Jenna pairs her legal knowledge with her knowledge of tax issues she obtained in getting her LLM (masters) in taxation.  She has helped clients think through the issues clearly and create the documents they need to operate their business smoothly.

Attorney Ordway has also worked with clients who have active business disputes about contracts or ownership.  Working with the slnlaw litigation team, Jenna has helped assess the claims and manage the litigation process.

"Long overdue public words of gratitude for Emily and her associates' work on my behalf. They were so very respectful of me during an emotionally and financially ridden time -- and that mattered more than the positive result. May all clients have such advocates on their sides!" Donna B.
