Attorney Ordway has been affiliated with Smith Lee Nebenzahl, LLP since 2011, serving as a law clerk each summer while pursuing her law degree. Attorney Ordway graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in May 2013, receiving a Tax Law Concentration, cum laude, and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.  While at Smith Lee Nebenzahl, first as a law clerk and then as an attorney, Jenna has worked on labor and employment and business litigation matters, including:

  • Civil litigation involving claims of breach of fiduciary duty between shareholders of close corporations and claims of minority freeze out in close corporations under Massachusetts and Delaware law;
  • Civil litigation arising from partnership disputes and dissolution of partnerships;
  • Civil litigation involving non compete agreements under Massachusetts law;
  • Labor and employment litigation arising from employment discrimination; and
  • Labor and employment litigation arising from violation of Massachusetts wage and hour law.

While at Quinnipiac, Attorney Ordway interned at Sikorsky Aircraft’s Tax and Finance Department and successfully competed at Fordham University School of Law’s Security and Finance Moot Court Competition. Attorney Ordway is currently a 2015 candidate for a LL.M. in International Taxation from Boston University School of Law.

Attorney Ordway obtained a Bachelor of Science in Music/Literature from Charter Oak State College in 2007, completing the majority of her degree at the University of Alaska, Anchorage, where she was a violinist with the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra. She is a long-time, avid equestrian competing in events throughout Massachusetts and New England and together with her family runs Althea Farm, a horse boarding facility in Sharon, Massachusetts.
