Broad experience in Securities Exchange Commission investigations, securities law arbitration and litigation, and in aiding securities brokers, investment advisors and investment companies.

Also, special emphasis on securities laws as they impact estates and trusts, including transfers of securities and acts of brokers, investment advisers and corporations.

Educated at the University of Notre Dame (1959, Ph.B., magna cum laude) and the University of Wisconsin Law School (LLB, 1964). Member of the State Bars of California and Wisconsin; American Bar Association Business Law Section, San Francisco Bar Association Securities Litigation Section. Formerly Chief of Branch of Regulation of the Securities and Exchange Commission in San Francisco.

Lawrence R. Lanctot, Esq.
Over twenty-eight years in the practice of law, with experience across a broad range of various business and commercial transactions, representing start up companies to national and international corporations. Representation includes both corporations and partnerships as well as individual, minority shareholders or partners. Experienced in real estate transactions, estate planning, probate and business litigation.

Educated at Santa Clara University (B.A. 1965 cum laude), the University of San Francisco (JD 1968), Law Review and Kendrick scholarship recipient; Columbia University (LLM 1969). Adjunct Professor of Law, University of San Francisco 1972-1975, in international business transactions. Member of the State Bar of California, Member of Business Law, Real Estate and Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law Sections and American Bar Association International Law Committee.

Community involvement includes the Larkspur Planning Commission (1983-1991), the Larkspur City Council since 1991 and Mayor (1996); President and Director of the Larkspur Library Endowment Fund & Foundation.

Robert E. Lanctot, Esq.
Over fifty years in the practice of law in San Francisco with heavy emphasis on wills, trusts, estate planning and probate; also wide exposure to corporate and finance problems.

Member of the California State Bar Association. Graduate of the University of San Francisco and past President of the University of San Francisco Law Society and of the University of San Francisco Alumni Association. Chairman of the Planned Giving Committee of the San Francisco Chapter of the American Heart Association.

John Preston Devine, Esq.
Admitted to the practice of law in 1994, emphasis on business litigation and securities litigation, including arbitration; also focus in general business law with experience in business associations and organization and real estate transactions.

Educated at the University of California at Davis (B.A. 1988) and the University of Oregon (J.D. 1994). Member of the State Bar of California. Formerly a law clerk with the Alameda County District Attorney, and a Deputy District Attorney for Marin County.
