Emily Smith-Lee has fifteen years experience in business, employment and consumer litigation.  She was a partner in the litigation department of McDermott, Will & Emery, where she gained experience in business litigation, health care litigation, product liability and tort defense, litigation involving food safety, contract litigation and litigation involving former employees, trade secret misappropriation, and non-compete agreements.

In the fall of 2009, Attorney Smith-Lee decided to bring that legal experience to a different market, and opened a practice in Sharon, Massachusetts.  Since then, she has represented individuals and businesses in business and commercial litigation, trade secret and non-compete litigation, and litigation involving claims of wrongful termination, employment discrimination, Wage Act violations, and other employment related disputes, and homeowners facing foreclosure. 

Attorney Smith-Lee graduated from Boston College Law School, summa cum laude, in 1996.  She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and in the Federal Courts in Massachusetts, and has handled litigation pro hac vice in ten different jurisdictions over the years.

Attorney Smith-Lee is also trained as a mediator, and has served as a volunteer mediator in the Stoughton District Court.
